Pumpkins..

We headed to the pumpkin patch @ Baughers Farm on Sunday, we got there only to find out we had been rained out from the previous days of rain. Gabe was mad, we were forced to pick pumpkins from a bin.. no fun right. But we managed to keep little guy busy on the farm and hit up the petting zoo while we were there..

The boy drew his 1st pumpkin face and it looked great! Complete with carrot nose which he later ate..

Cover of Baltimore' Child! :)

OK, so I haven't been the best @ this blogging thing.. we just won't talk about the 5 month gap I had ;) Since Summer is over and my busy season is dying now maybe we can take 2 @ this thing ;)

My big news is my cover on the October issue of Baltimore's Child Magazine! This is where I insert a whew-hoo! and to add an even bigger whew-hoo my son's picture is all over Baltimore :) It's been hard not running to every grocery store in a 30 mile radius to clean out their supply of Oct's issue ;) Still working on that one with my mother, who's handing out the magazines to complete strangers and carries @ least 10 copies on her @ all times.

I absolutely love the shot of my son, which I took last fall for our holiday cards. It's one of my top ten pics of the boy that I've taken! Gabe is totally into having his picture on a Magazine.. "Hey thats me Gabe" proudly every time we see the picture :)

Thanks so much Baltimore's Child for putting us on the cover, and an even bigger thanks to Jennifer @ BC for her countless emails with me and maiking it all happen!!

If you guys haven't picked up this months issue, go hunt one down or you can read the online version @ www.BaltimoresChild.com or here.

Me the boy and the zoo

Gabe and I took a trip to Baltimore Zoo Wednesday, it was supposed to be a rainy day trip but the rain decided to put its breaks on and I was actually a little bummed out that it did. The day was still great, nice breeze a ton of animals were out enjoying the cool air. The only down side was the field trips.. my umbrella quickly became a weapon against the hundreds of screaming and pushy elementary & middle school kids.. poor Gabe got pushed outta the way and knocked over by adults and children it was pretty frustrating. He had such great maners even with all the craziness, but I could tell he was starting to get frustrated too.. "MA I TOLD THEM EXCUSE ME BUT THEY NOT MOVING OUT MY WAY!!" he might have thrown in a "damn it" as that seems to be the word of the week, I think him and I were plotting how to feed the lions about 200 people.

Once the buses left the day was more relaxed. He even made a monkey friend through the glass "Rosey", she was trying to feed him hay or poop.. either way it was cute :) They were hand to hand on through glass and of course I decide not to bring my good camera that day because of the rain!! My point & shoot is just to slow, the pics I got are blah.. but you'll get the point :) Rosey was sooo into Gabe she actually flipped out at kid who came up next to Gabe, she flug her self and started beating on the glass she did not want him there at all, Gabe thought it was hilarous and the other kid cried :) Fun day.

My 1st Wedding :)

I had the honor of working with the very new Mr & Mrs Dunn :) yesterday, who just might be the cutest couple ever! I had a bit of butterflies since this was my 1st wedding ever and the bride is also a photographer :) But Lauren was awesome to work with. Despite the rain, I think we got some great shots that we will both be happy with! I have another wedding @ the end of the month and I am lucky enough to be shooting with another photographer who has more experience in weddings which I'm really excited to learn and take in!
"Thank You Card"

I'll be including some of my favorite shots from yesterday through out the day as I go through and edit :)

CONGRATS AGAIN GUYS!!!! & Thanks for being my 1st ;)

yeah...

The dreaded silence from the other room.. he's great at taking fun to the extreme. I left him in the other room for about 2 minutes. He was quietly set up to color at the table.. When Gabezilla strikes again with a proud "LOOK WHAT I DO"and apparently now naked. I am his Japan...

I will spare the photos of every square inch covered in purple. He got everything.. head to toe to butt crack.. even the boy parts... purple *shakes head in shame*. I can't say he's not fun.
Things are definitely not boring here.

Little late..

I am super late with getting together Gabe's Easter morning and day pics. Honestly I didn't take to many. I've been trying not to be behind the camera to much when it comes to fun things with him! It's much more fun being at ground zero!
Easter morning started @ 5:45 AM!! Our moving alarm clock woke us up to the sounds of singing "EASTER BUNNY HERE!" Gabe was so excited, as much as we tried there was no getting him back to bed for at least another hour. He had a wicked sugar buzz before the sun was up :)

After the Easter Bunny thing we headed to Hershey Park.. because we thought hell why not give the 2 year old even more candy right? We had a lot of fun, and went a little crazy in the Hershey store ;) I am now stocked up on enough hot chocolate to last another Ice Age. What did you think would happen after 10 minutes of the Hershey tour, the sights and smells.. mmm chocolate. So I besides the sugared up kid and no nap after waking up before the chickens we had a pretty good day.

Gabe crashed good in the car, we had our Easter dinner @ Cracker Barrel and we managed to convince dad to take a sick day for work on Monday :) Great weekend!

1st Shoot of my season!

So I've decided to give this blog thing a whirl! I figure it's a nice way to share with clients, friends and family more about me, my family and my shoots :) I'm not really sure how these things are supposed to work, I am completely new to this blogging world!

I'll start off with saying Thanks to Joanna, Simon & their two little ones for allowing me to share our shoot in my blog! I've had the privilege in shooting their oldest son for the 2nd time now, along with being thrilled to help welcome the families newest addition! Congrats you guys! You seriously make some gorgeous kids!! I'm am always so excited to be asked back to capture more memories for my families and I am looking forward to watching these little ones grow through my camera! Congrats and thank you again Joanna & Simon! :)
